Metal ceramics are a mixture of metal powder particles and other compounds with different physical properties, after the pressing of which a fragile detail in the shape of the tool is obtained, in which they are pressed. This is followed by sintering or the so-called sintering of the details under special regimes and a very high temperature, resulting in a hard and durable product.
Hard alloys are a composition of several components. They combine the high hardness and wear resistance of hard-to-melt compounds- most commonly tungsten carbides, titanium, molybdenum, vanadium, tantalum, niobium etc., along with bond plasticity, achieved by impurity of cobalt, nickel, iron etc.
Sintering methods (sleeping) and related processes for obtaining articles and structural details from metal powders or mixtures thereof with non-metallic fillers by molding and firing are known as powder metallurgy (Powder Мetallurgy).
Cost effectiveness is a major reason for choosing powder metallurgy for the mass production of structural parts with complex shapes and special requirements. Compared to traditional methods and technologies in metalworking, with the use of the possibilities of powder metallurgy, significant energy savings are achieved, high degree of usability of the material, fewer production stages until the final receipt of the product and unique technical data of the finished product.
Our company specializes in the production of various types of carbide nozzles, nozzles for sandblasting devices, contact plates and tiles, paring and guillotine knives, metal-ceramic inserts in various types of tools.
